Observations:

Usually when you lose face-offs 17-5 and ground balls 30-20, you usually lose. Not today –sloppy Hopkins along with tenacious Terrapin defense resulted in a huge win for Maryland.Austin Heninegshen once again sat out the game though he was available to play. 

The Terps are 12-2 overall and 5-0 in the BIG 10 with the BIG ten Tourney awaiting.

In the 2nd half goalie Kyle Bernlohr was incredible and keyed the victory.

By Wayne Viener – With the verbal commitment of Josh Kaindoh, the 5 star defensive end from IMG Academy and the B1G lacrosse title clinching victory over Johns Hopkins it has been a good day.

Head coach Mark Turgeon and the University of Maryland men’s basketball program has announced the addition of Micah Thomas (Memphis, Tenn.) to the Terps’ 2016 signing class.

It wasn’t easy but Maryland’s women’s lacrosse team finished their second season in the Big Ten as they finished their first – undefeated – as they came away with a 10-9 win over Penn State.
