After an exhausting 2 hour trek from Baltimore to Annapolis, I decided to view this game on CBS College Sports Network with Stan Goldstein at Rick Jaklitsch’s house. What a rainy, miserable night in Annapolis. But the Terrapins were able to take care of business easily defeating a Freshmen laden Navy squad squad. Curtis Holmes dominated the face offs early and Maryland jumped out to a 6-1 lead early and never looked back. Again it was the middies doing the … Read More »

The speed and general gamesmanship of redshirt Junior Brian Farrell has been evident early in Maryland’s practice season. A healthy Farrell, and goalie Brian Phipps could lead the Terps back to the final four, this year at M&T Bank Stadium.
The missing ingredient last year for the Terps was the injury to superb Defenseman Brian Farrell, from Boys Latin. According to Patrick Fischer (Media Realtions for Lacrosse) Brian was back for the fall ball game against team USA. Farrell is a special player and his return to the Terps could catapult them back into the final four. Remember where you heard it.
