Big Ben looked like he wasn’t sure what planet he was on Sunday after being kicked in the head. Yet the Steelers feel he is ready for the Ravens on Sunday. What if #52 or #20 put an excruciating hit on him . It’s unbelievable that on Tuesday the Steelers would announce #7 is ready to play. How about testing him every day right up until game time.Ridiculous!!
When you shoot 35% from the field, go 2-14 from the 3 point line and shoot 17-31 from the foul line, rest assured you will not win the game. Bowie, Hayes, Mosley , and Greivis had the looks but could not convert. There is no panic, it’s just 1 game, and the good thing about this tournament is that a win tomorrow night will shake this game from our minds. Greivis though finishing with 19 points just is not sharp … Read More »
4500 watched the Terps jump on top of Samford 25-3 and never look back. It was their 40th consecutive win at Home. Frehmen Tianna Hawkins and Dara Taylor scored 14 and 11 respectively. Brenda commented on the rebound from the Miss State defeat:
“With this young team, it’s all a learning experience. We went through, from Mississippi State, a very poised, veteran team and we just weren’t ready from the tip, and they took advantage of that in the … Read More »
The death of their Abe Pollin put some perspective into the Wizards internal bickering as the Caron Butlerless Bullets eked out a 1 point win over Philly. Butler and Arenas are at odds lately which hopefullt can be cured with a couple of Ws. Some reaction to Abe’s death from ESPN.com:

Sad news out of DC today, with the news of the Wizards owner passing away. Abe originally was one of 3 owners of the then Baltimore Bullets. The team was moved to Largo as the Capital Bullets and then became the Washington Bullets. The Wizards play Philly tonight and I am sure there will be many tributes paid. Check out Comcast at 7PM.
There is no tomorrow should the Ravens lose this Sunday night. Five games against strong opponents—5 losses, many of the gut wrenching type. I guess we can say Ravens are in a Crisis Mode—they must defeat their arch enemy at home.
Casey Townsend is back and now the team no one wants to play is back!!!! Of course we are talking about the defending NCAA Champs Sasho and the Men’s Soccer Team.
Well the matchup we have all been waiting for is finally here. Cincinnati and Lance Stephenson will be the next opponent for the Terps Tuesday night at 7PM on the deuce. Sean Mosley tied a career high tonight with 19 points. Greivis again had a subpar night but the Terps are still winning and believe me Greivis’ offense will come around. Eric Hayes added a dozen and Landon scored 10 as the Terps found their game midway through the first … Read More »
This is only my speculation, but I do believe Ralph will be given next year to begin to turn the program around. Reasons
—The turnaround time for a college football program is unlike basketball or any sport. There are so many ingredients in a College football grouping. New players would have to be rcruited because there would be defections, etc, etc..
—-Ralph understands this team, the University, the players, the deficiencies he is facing in the line, etc
—He … Read More »
The honeymoon never started for Flip Saunders. According to Washington Post columnist Michael Lee, the Wizards are in turmoil. Brendan Heywood and Gilbert Arenas seem to be at odds. There is definitely an ego problem on this team according to Lee. Gilbert is just not his old self yet he is leading the team in crunch time but not succeeding . The season is still early, however.. Rumors are rampant that AI might be returning to the 76ers. Eddie Jordan … Read More »
