ESPN is reporting that ex-Terrapin Joe Smith has signed a 1 year deal with Atlanta. Joe finished last season with the Cavs but was used sparingly in the playoffs.

Nicole Muracco scored less then 1 minute into Overtime, leading the Terps to a 1-0 win. Playing without All American Katie O’Donnell, the Terps eked out the win. Katie along with Senior Alexis Pappas are playing with the USA National team against China starting around 4:30.

Ryan Randle played for Saint-Etienne B.C. of the French ProB league. Saint-Etienne finished in 8th place in the regular season and lost in the quarterfinals of the playoffs to Rodney Elliott’s Levallois team. Ryan scored 8.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game (14 games).

Tonight’s game was quite the feat for the Orioles. Baltimore, facing an Angels lineup with eight batters hitting around .300 and going against Jared Weaver, who had a 12-3 record going into the game. The Orioles crushed the Angels 16-6, capped by Felix Pie getting the 4th cycle in Orioles history. In case you missed the show last night, Jordan Williams passed the NCAA clearing House and thus officially becomes a Scholarship player for Gary’s Terrapins. This kid will be something special and I would not be surprised to see him starting by midseason. It’s a great day to be a TERP.
It was like Terrapin Home Day at M&T Bank Stadium last night as Kevin Barnes, Scott Burley, Stephon Heyer, Edwin Williams, Jared Gaither, and Dominique Foxworth all saw action in the game.
