Here is the list:
What UConn faces
This is a list of the alleged violations found by the NCAA during its 15-month investigation of the University of Connecticut men’s basketball program:
• Members of the men’s basketball staff exchanged at least 160 impermissible telephone calls and at least 191 impermissible text messages with recruits.
• Former student manager turned sports agent Josh Nockimson provided impermissible benefits to a recruit.

Here’s my hope. Senor Vasquez has been showing up in the mock drafts in the high to middle part of the 2nd round. I could name 100 reasons why the Wizards should take him at 30. Let’s see how he does Monday.
Fortunately, I missed the first inning debacle in Toronto last night. For those who care the Orioles are now 15-34.
Paul Pierce — WOW–money player. There is almost no one in the NBA in crunch time better then Pierce. Well, except Kobe that is!!!–If the Lakers get past Phoenix—the Celts will be no match for them. But I will wait for the analysis after LA wins. Phoenix hosts the Celtices tonight and for some idiotic reason if LA wins the series doesn’t start until next Thursday. David Stern is shooting for a July 4th finish.
I truly believe we will see a free wheeling, offensive minded, #1 Terrapin squad take the field tonight at Johnny Unitas Stadium in its quest to return the NCAA Championship to its rightful home in College Park. Caitlyn McFadden will lead the troops into battle against a Syracuse squad that is attempting to make a late season run to the title. But this Terrapin squad is too deep. Goalie Brittany Dipper has been magnificent since her 1 game benching in … Read More »
The X factor arrived when he was needed the most. After taking 2 ill advised jumpers late in the game, Ron Artest more then redeemed himself by catching a Kobe Bryant air ball and banking in a jumper at the buzzer. The Lakers are now up 3-2 in the series. The wind has to be out of the sail of Phoenix for game 6 Saturday night.
I really don’t know what to say anymore. I was at the ballpark and this is what I observed.
It’s utterly amazing how the fans stay loyal. No boo-birds, no bags over the head, just continue praying for a turnaround as if this game might be the one to change things.
Time after time the O’s failed to deliver in the clutch. Yes they converted bases loaded chances into a few runs but the scoring was downright ugly.

Two former Maryland men’s soccer standouts will represent the U.S. at this summer’s World Cup in South Africa, announced by head coach Bob Bradley Wednesday afternoon. Maurice Edu and Clarence Goodson have landed on the final 23-man roster that will compete for the U.S. Men’s National Team in the 2010 FIFA World Cup. The pair was originally joined by fellow Terp Robbie Rogers on … Read More »
A big weekend is looming for the Lady Terps. Cathy Reese will be on to discuss the chances to win it all at Towson. On the men’s side, as much as we are diappointed the NCAA Tile will be on the line at M&T. Rob Schwartzmann (father of Jesse and Andrew) , a long time Terrapin supporter will be in the house tonight to discuss, the end of the Cottle era, who his replacement might be , and of course … Read More »
Obviously the Patsos rehire is not close to being finalized. Gary met with one of the early frontrunners today, Chris Caputo a master recruiter from George Mason. There are more to come as Williams is biding his time, looking for the perfect fit.
