    Jeremy Guthrie shut down a great hitting Ranger team Friday night moving his record to 9-8.  Kevin Millar socked 2 HRs as the O’s ravaged the Texas pitching staff before 34,000.  Troy Smith gets the starting nod next Saturday night vs the Vikings at M&T. Perhaps Coach Harbaugh was effected by Kyle’s turnovers.

    Two A’s in summer school class supposedly readies Steve Goins to be admitted to the University, according to the Terrapin Times.  Along with Sean Mosley, and Jin Soo Kim the 2008 class appears to be heading into completion. Goins would certainly add some beef up front for the Terps who only have Braxton Dupree and Jerome Burney returning to the front line.

     Maryland grad and local promoter, Lee Corrigan will appear on Terp Talk this Thursday night at 7PM.  Lee will discuss the upcoming Under Armour All Star lacrosse games at Towson Saturday night featuring 10 incoming Maryland Freshmen. We will also discuss the coming of Mixed Martial Arts events to Baltimore and Lee’s take on the decrepid Baltimore Arena.

    According to the Terrapin Times, shooting forward, Jin Soo Kim appears to be academically eligible to join the 2008 class for the Maryland Terrapins.  Kim is a 6’9 sharpshooter, who will join Sean Mosley as the second recruit to join the team.  With the possible exception of adding another big man the 2008-09 roster seems set.
