I am not a buyer of 2 things:
#1 The Vikings with #4 are a great team.
#2 The loss to Cincy makes the Ravens a mediocre team.
First, the Vikings are way overrated. Let’s look at who they have defeated. Ready for this powerhouse of opponents. The Browns, Detroit, SF on a lucky last second play, Green Bay at home on Monday night and then Kyle Boller and the St Louis … Read More »
There are certainly rumore of a trade for Kansas City’s WR Dwayne Bowe. From Jamison Hensley ‘s Ravens Insider in the Sun comes the following: “There has been speculation — ESPN started the rumor but nothing confirmed by either team — that the Ravens will send a second- and fifth-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, who seems to have had a falling out with new coach Todd Haley. A 2007 first-round pick, Bowe has … Read More »
Last night at the Mobbies, I had the pleasure of meeting Jarrett Carter, creator of stetsports.com. Jarrett told me I had to watch a video of OchoCinco explaining the Ray Lewis hit last Sunday. Watch this . By the way, #85 is one tough kid. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed took shot after shot after him onSunday and he kept bouncing up.

Now that everyone is doubting the Ravens remember this: The last time Brett was at M&T Bank Stadium, he was thoroughly outplayed by Kyle Boller. It was a Monday night toward the end of the season.
Some observations of the game where the many fans got their wish to see the Ravens run more.
Was Brian Billick brought back to design the offensive game plan.
The Ravens were outplayed across the board yet were in clear position to win.
When you are on the road, all you can ask for is to have the ball at the end of a game with a chance to win. Carson Palmer pulled it off. Mark Clayton dropped the ball.
Let’s remember what #85 has had in store in the past for the Ravens. I remember the Monday night game when he wore a special Hall of Fame Jacket. Then one time he threatened Ray Lewis calling him out before the game. I wonder if he is insane enough to jump into the stands if he scores? Look for the Ravens to take out last week’s frustrations out on Cincy.
When all was said and done, the Ravens had the ball with a chance to win and only a dropped pass by Mark Clayton put the brakes on a W. That’s all you can ask for when you play a top tier NFL team on the road.
This is one simple headline the Sunpapers nailed on the head. We can talk til we are purple in the face about the QB roughing calls, the bad spot before the Patriots field goal, the fumble on the opening kickoff, etc but it all came down to a dropped pass from Mark Clayton that was right between the 8 and … Read More »
