The Terps finished the regular season 18-13 and 7-9 in the ACC. Not much else is needed to be said. 17,500 watched the hoos get on top early and never relinquish the lead. That’s UVA. Again I am speechless. I just never imagined the Terps below .500 in this years ACC.

The fourth-seeded Maryland women’s basketball team fell to fifth-seeded Georgia Tech 70-64 Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum. Junior Kim Rodgers led the Terrapins (23-7, 9-5) with 13 points, while ACC Rookie of the Year Alyssa Thomas added 12. Rodgers was 3-for-6 from outside the arc. Thomas led the team with six boards in her 21 minutes.
