This one is going to sting for a long while. All that is left is trying to win one more game and ruin the season and NC State.  The Terps were in control of its own destiny. Wouda, coulda, shoulda, down to the facts.

Minus the 2 interceptions which were actually forced situations Danny OBrien was on the money. He certainly was able able to find sure handed Will Yeatman who blossomed into his own last night.

Across the entire country tonight could be the night for the Terrapins to emerge from the shell it has been under. THIS IS A BIG TIME game. A win will keep the BCS chances of the Maryland 11 in tact. A FSU win could propel the Seminoles to Miami on Jan3. This will not be a repest of the disaster 2 years ago at Comcast. Why? Because of QB1 Danny O’Brien. Enough said lets get it on!!!

I know it sounds crazy but I feel even more stronger about this team after their 2nd loss in a row. Some points:

Jordan had 15 points and 13 rebounds yet barely played more then a half. He has to watch his cheap fouls.

Stoglin is a gutty player scoring 17 in this situation. Yes he missed a couple of threes down the wire but he is only a freshman. He never backed down the entire game.

I thought Sean … Read More »

Senior Katie O’Donnell, who was named the Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year earlier Friday, lead the Terrapins to the championship game Sunday with her seventh career hat trick.

If Pitt is #4 in the nation then the Terps are certainly not #39. The Terps battled back from double digits deficits several times but could not get over the hump. Likes and dislikes of the night’s performance:

The Terps were outrebounded by 21 and were 14-31 from the foul line, and 2-14 from the 3 point line but stayed close because they kept the turnovers down–only 9.

Cliff Tucker is playing like the senior leader he will need to … Read More »

The irony of ironies—Why is this Saturday’s game against FSU —Redemption Day

The entire Maryland football program will be looked at entirely different with a victory this Saturday. Don’t believe for a second it can’t happen. FSU is already looking past the Terps figuring out what bowl they will play in and awaiting the Florida game. If you think the Seminoles are that strongremember BC had them deep on the ropes at Tallahassee. It took a 55 yard FG to … Read More »

Radio Shows

I watched Greivis play last night for the Grizzlies on NBA TV. He certainly injects life into this team. Hollins called on Greivis twice both while the team was in a malaise. Vasquez responded by injecting energy immediately. When he begins to hit his 3s, he will become a force on this team.
