The NCAA lacrosse brackets were released tonight and both Maryland squads were seeded highly as expected. The men are the #3 seed and take on Hofstra in the first round while a date with Syracuse awaits them in the Final Four. The women are the #1 seed and play Marist in the first round with a potential matchup against Georgetown in the Final Four.

Jared will go in for a MRI this week to diagnose his recent injury to his foot. So much for all the negative speculation.
Ex Terrapin Jared Gaither missed the 2nd day of camp yesterday due to a mysterious injury. Speculation is running rampant as the cause of his absence. But let’s make one point clear, last year when Jared missed 4 games and Oher switched to the left side–there was an obvious void at right tackle. I hope the Ravens have the situation under control if their intentions are to trade Jared.

Goran Dragic–Who?—scored 23 4th quarter points leaving Steve Nash on the sidelines to cheer and did what previous Phoenix teams have failed to do –put the Spurs on the ropes.
