Tampa Bay and Philadelphia had to survive 162 game regular seasons and 2 best of 7 playoffs only to potentially see the final game of the World Series played in conditions no other game would have been played. Ridiculous!!!! Now all the drama is gone with the suspension and at this moment we are not even sure when the game will be resumed. I wonder if the NFL ratings blitzed the World Series.
The polls are out and the news is great. The Teps (football) returned to the top 25 in both the USA and AP Polls. This is as a result of their 6-2 record and 3-1 in the ACC. Win out and a trip to Tampa Dec 6 for the ACC Championship is in store.
Yes the defense dominated. Yes the Ravens are 2-0 without McAlister. Yes Suggs backs up his huffing and puffing with stellar play. But the fun part of the game yesterday was the brilliant game plan of OC Cam Cameron. Cam utilized both QB’s, featured 3 running backs, threw to 8 different receivers and kept the Raiders totally off guard with the variety of his play selection. Some of my observations:

The Hall of Fame banquet last night triggered a spectacular Saturday at College Park. Maryland could become bowl eligible by taking care of business and defeating NC State at 3:30 PM. She was a four-time lacrosee All-American, two-time national champion and 1996 ACC Female Athlete of the Year and Player of the Year. I was at the Ravens Dolphins game on Sunday when after deferring the flip, I noticed no CMac on the field when the Dolphins started their offense. Keith Boothe, current Assistant Coach, will enter the Maryland Hall of Fame on Friday night mainly for his great 4 year stint playing for the Terps.keith-boothe. But his more recent accomplishment is returning the Baltimore presence in the Terrapin lineup. Dino Gregory, Braxton Dupree, and now Mr Baltimore. Sean Mosley were all Boothe recruits and should make significant contributions to the team.
