The Bronco Charger game last Sunday will now be named disastergate for the fleecing of a victory from San Diego.   How could rules be in place not for the referee who knew he made a mistake , not to be able to overrule the rules.  Instant replay interferes with the fluidity of the game. The ACC  interruptions are insufferable. My solution is that the use of instant replay should be confined to the last 2 minutes of a … Read More »

One day after the huge victory over Cal, the Maryland coaching staff nominated 5 players for ACC player of the week. But looming on the horizon are some injuries that hopefully won’t derail the Terps.

Senior defensive end Mack Frost may have injured his surgically repaired knee, an injury not apparent during the game or mentioned afterwards by Friedgen, and he may miss this week’s game.

Also, running back Da’Rel Scott is “questionable” for this week with … Read More »

“They outplayed us, plain and simple,” said Tedford.  Some observations to all my bearinsider.com fans.

What was Tedford thinking about coming to College Park less then 24 hours before the game?

Cal was not ready for stifling humidity!!!!

As I predicted Maryland got on top, gained confidence and kept the crowd in the game!!

Best was amazing but the Terps’ ability to tackle in the open field(long a weakness) kept him under control.

Turner was awesome 15-20 and … Read More »

The team is mad and hungry. Cal thinks it will be a walk in the park.  High noon Saturday (9AM PCT) will … Read More »

It seems like no major changes are in the hopper for Saturday.  It is imperative for the Terps to get off to a quick start or else could run away and hide.  OC James Franklin commented on the QB performance:  “As a quarterback you got to make 90 percent of the throws that are there. If a guy is open you got to hit him. Really, it is not that difficult when you have good protection to drop back … Read More »
