It was painful to watch the Orioles bullpen toss away another game last night as Toronto scored the last 5 runs to edge the Birds 7-6. Daniel Cabrera tired in the 7th, exited and then the floodgates opened. Another furious comeback failed Sunday as the O’s Sunday jinx continued with a 11-10 loss to the Texas Rangers. The bullpen failed to keep Texas in check and the Birds squandered numerous chances to score which was amplified in a 1 run loss. George Sherrill was selected to represent the Orioles in the All Star game.

Ex Terrapin, Jared Gaither seems destined to attempt to fill the shoes of legendary retired Ravens tackle Jonathan Ogden. According to the Terrapin Times, shooting forward, Jin Soo Kim appears to be academically eligible to join the 2008 class for the Maryland Terrapins. Kim is a 6’9 sharpshooter, who will join Sean Mosley as the second recruit to join the team. With the possible exception of adding another big man the 2008-09 roster seems set.
