After some timely hitting in the 5th inning giving the O’s a 5-1 lead, the bullpen failed miserably culminating in another 2 out 2 strike tying HR by KC in the 9th. The HR pitch was incredibly in the wheelhouse of KC’s Olivo and he left no doubt. Ramon Hernandez grounded into a weak bases loaded double play in the 8th when a fly ball would have clinched victory. Let’s hope 2 brutal losses in a row can be … Read More »

George Sherrill failed to get a called strike 3 to end the game and then before you know it Belliard hits a 2 run walkoff HR to win the game for the Nats. Despite the horrific loss, the O’s came home 41-39 ruining another great job by Guthrie. Is it time to look to add some punch in this lineup. Carlos Delgado is on the block as well as the all time HR leader, Barry Bonds. Though Cintron looked better … Read More »

The much anticipated final word on Sean Mosley’s becoming eligible for the 08 class was delayed yesterday for about 2-3 weeks.  Apparently all of his summer school grading is not complete.  Just a Great O’s game last night as George Sherrill loaded the bases with no one out then proceeded to strike out the side in the 9TH.  The Cubs look like this might finally be their year–remember Soriano is out of what is an extremely impressive lineup.
