It’s with deep sadness (and gratitude to Bruce) that I write this memoriam to my friend Harry McGowan who died Friday of cryptogenic liver disease a few months shy of his 76th birthday.
Over the past few years, people have dubbed me “the non-rev” Todd Carton because of my passion for sports at Maryland that don’t draw much attention but the truth is that Harry was the original “non-rev” maven. His memory for past players and teams was prodigious.

Terp fans it’s finally happening, what we have been promised for so long, is finely here. The day that the top local talent of the area is coming to College Park to play football. The most recent 4-star commit is Jaylan Duncan, an Offensive Linemen from St. Frances Academy in Baltimore. Duncan is the 9th commit of the 2018 class, and the 3rd four-star recruit to commit according to 24/7 sports.
