Utterly amazing. the Terps are 11-5 and all 5 losses could have easily have gone the other way. Fouls shots, clutch shooting, short lapses in defense have all contributed to the 5 losses. somehow or another the 3 non conference losses were all on neutral courts. Now the Terps travel to Philly to face Villanova or “Montrose North” as we know it. The Terps have proven they can play with anyone. Their intensity and overall preparation are unmatched. The schedule maker has not been kind to the Terps. The Terps stand at 0-2 in the conference at the moment and without looking ahead it seems like a 10-4 finish will be needed for the Terps to dance. This puts a tremendous premium on tonight’s game against the struggling Demon Deacons. At any time road games in the ACC are brutal. The Terps exploded after the start of the 2nd half to a 38-32 lead but after Coach K tongue lashing to the Blue Devils , Duke stormed back and dominated the rest of the game. How is it a school from New jersey is in the Great Western Conference? The highlanders are 2-6 this year but have played their opponents tough. Williams Post UNCG I give the Maestro credit—he remains loyal to those who have always been good to him. After a really weak game against Temple, gary contemplated a change or 2 but decided to stay with the status quo as far as the starting lineup goes. Adrian Bowie responded with an excellent game scoring 15 on 4-5 shooting.Cliff Tucker scored 13 on 5-10 shhoting. Once again Jordan Williams got a 2bl–2bl with 23 and 13.

Look for Coach Williams to tweak the starting lineup tonight perhaps in an effort to fire up his 4 slumping upperclassmen. I am just speculating but I would not be shocked to see Terrell Stoglin enter the starting lineup tonight. I would also not be shocked to see the same 5 that has started every game. Stay tuned. The starters have really not played that bad at home. Jordan Williams must get some offensive help.
How can this be our 8th loss in the last 10 BB&T games? I am inclined to have give a positive spin on last night’s game. Pe”Shon Howard and Terrell Stoglin are flat out bball studs.
