Jin Soo has played his last game for the Terps. Jin Soo Choi has announced his intention to leave the University of Maryland and pursue a basketball career in his native Korea, head coach Gary Williams said Tuesday.

Listen I was critical of #5 yeasterday but in no way does this belittle the tremendous performance he has had in his first 2 seasons. Many veteran QBs are at home now but our sophomore from Delaware is preparing for his 4th playoff in in 2 years. Never lose sight of the fact that #1 Joe is playing hurt and #2 he has only played in 35 games in the NFL.

Maryland men’s soccer head coach Sasho Cirovski has announced the hiring of former Terrapin standout Michael Dello-Russo as assistant coach, announced Monday.

Dello-Russo, who played for Maryland from 2001-2005, was a two-time captain for Cirovski and was instrumental in guiding the Terps to their first national championship since 1968 as a senior in 2005. The center back, who started all 25 matches for the Terps, aided Maryland to 11 shutouts that season. The Columbia, Md., native finished his … Read More »

Just a quick note. We know that the success of the Ravens must tear apart at Mr Snyder (as he likes to be called). Baltimore is LUCKY to have an owner like Steve Bishotti, who leaves his ego at the front door and just wins!!!!

I said it the other night on the Terrapin Pregame  Show on ESPN–The ACC is just not as strong as it has been. This will lead to the Terps doing better then expected. I wonder the reaction of the polls to Carolina’s loss last night to Charleston. Bobby Cremins exposed the weakness of the Tar Heel’s perimeter defense. On equal grounds we all know that Gary will outcoach any of his rivals in the ACC. Again I anxiously await Super … Read More »

In November, three freshmen football players were charged with attempted armed robbery. Two of them, … Read More »

1. The Patriots won’t make it past the first round: It’s bad enough that New England lost Pro Bowl wide receiver Wes Welker to a serious knee injury in its loss to Houston on Sunday. What makes that setback even more painful is that the Patriots face Baltimore in the first round. Without Welker on the field, the Ravens can focus more attention on Randy Moss while worrying less about a rookie like Julian Edelman hurting … Read More »

Mr. Arenas’ Statement

“I appreciated the opportunity to meet with law enforcement officials today.  As the person who caused this trouble in the first place, I thought it was my duty to be the first witness to come forward and meet with the prosecutors and detectives.  I told my attorney I wanted to get in for an interview as soon as we could arrange it, and that was today.

I told the detectives and prosecutors the whole story about my storing … Read More »

Maryland kept Saint Joseph’s at bay with 20-point performances from Anjale Barrett and Diandra Tchatchouang. The Terrapins closed their non-conference portion of the season by defeating the Hawks 79-69 and extending their home court winning streak to 47.

Brenda commented post game–I just thought, like I just told the team, we had tremendous poise and composure down the stretch, especially against such a great, hard-working team like St. Joe’s, and I’m proud of the fact that we had … Read More »
