I stated this morning how crucial tonight’s game was and it seemed like the Terps were ready as they exploded to a 40-29 halftime lead. But then a switched turned off the Terrapins defense and shooting. Probably it was the 3rd foul on Landon but in any event it’s a trend Maryland just can’t seem to break. In the post game press conference Gary was asked about the 2nd half meltdowns “If I knew, it wouldn’t happen … Read More »

Let’s analyze why tonight’s game becomes so important for Maryland. First and foremost the confidence shattering loss against Duke needs to be wiped out of the minds of the Terps, especially Greivis. Looking at the schedule, Maryland has its next 3 homes games vs BC, Miami, and the Hokies. None will be easy but Maryland will be favored to win all 3 which I believe is a must if somehow they could eke out 9 wins. With NC State, … Read More »

Comcast was rocking Sunday Night. Before 12,000 screaming Terrapins, Kristi Tolliver turned in a carrer performance in the 2nd half after Marissa Coleman was nearly perfect in the first. Kristi finished with 23 points and 8 assists but her performance was that of a maestro: bounce passes leading to easy layups and jumpshops using her signature step back method.kristi-nc (Audio interview with Kristi after the game) Marissa opened the game up with 3 straight 3’s from the … Read More »

Penalty on Darren Stone for the late hit on the punt probably cost the Ravens the game. The ball was on the 40 and the Ravens would only have needed 2 or 3 first downs to get in field goal position.

What was up with the horrendous kickoffs by the Ravens?

Hats off to Suggs for his 2 one armed sacks.

Hearing Shannon Sharpe and Boomer fawning over the Steelers sickened me.

Is there any way we can keep #52, … Read More »

After watching the FSU game for the 2nd time, I must conclude that every marginal call went against the Terrapins. Let me note I am not complaining about he refs but I am just stating that 3 close calls went against the Terps:

-The final rebound was called off of Dave Neal but I never saw Dave touch the ball.

-Was the foul against Eric Hayes before the shot clock ran out?

-Landon got bumped while driving down the lane … Read More »
