After 2 consecutive losses, Coach Cottle turned to Sophomore goalie Brian Phipps and was rewarded with a huge effort. Travis Reed returned to the lineup and contributed 4 assists. The Lady lacrosse Terps crushed Virginia Tech 20-3 earning the top seed in next week’s ACC tournament. The Wizards roughed up LeBron James but faltered down the stretch losing game one to the Cavs. They seemed to lack offensive rhythm but get a quick rematch on Monday.
