Carolina now is 1-5 on the road. They are not a power!! Early in the game Roy subbed the entire starting team and lectured them while his Freshman non starters were playing. Observations of the Terrapins road loss:
Freshman center Jordan Williams was excellent tonight. He played physical ball, held his owndown low and scored 12 points on 6-8 shooting. His performance bodes well for the Terrapins going forward.
The Terps will be in every game this year due to Senior leadership. Though Hayes and Milbourne had for the most part off nights, when crunch time came the 2 Seniors responded helping the Terps to come back from a seemingly lost game.
The Terps have a real chance to make a statement tonight. The schedule maker has been unkind to Greivis and his band of Terrapins by sending the Terps on the road 48 hours after Sunday’s game. Well, finally it is here. NOW the games really count. The Terrapins are 8-4 (win over Chaminade does not count) and probably need to win 10 games to insure a NCAA bid.
