Strong perimeter defense
Amazed at the court savvy of Nick Faust
First test for the Illini tonight

It’s funny that last night on Terp Talk, I stated that I could not believe that the Hawk didn’t commit on Wednesday night. Terrapintimes.com now reports that indeed he did but he just wanted to allow his Coach and high school the honor of hearing it from him. Sounds like Gary’s kind of guy.
Replacing our incredible Senior guards … Read More »
You can try to explain about the effects of playing at Cameron Indoor but it is different when you experience it. They said it was Coach K’s birthday today but a mi mistake was mad it was Brian Zoubek’s. 16 point 17 rebounds—let’s see how he plays at Comcast. I never expected Jordan Williams to have a big … Read More »
Truthfully this was a mismatch from the opening introductions. Maryland was just too big for this team from Virginia. Sean Mosley was perfect tonight 8-8 from the field including 1 three and 4-4 from the foul line. Sean had been struggling with his shot in the past few games due to an ankle injury he played with. Mosley … Read More »
Greivis, Eric and Landon combined for 52 points including 9-13 from the 3 point line, guiding the Terps to victory in their first ACC game of the season. Some key points on the game.
The whole team seemed more at ease on the offense.
This team came ready to play and its suffocating defense brought #18 FSU to its knees.

I had the opportunity to attend one of the Terrapins practices a few days ago. The Coach is certainly the most intense, attentive mentor I have ever seen. He watches over every play , teaching every member of the team. This was part of the Fastbreakers night with the team. Afterwards we joined the coaches and the team for dinner. Join the Fastbreakers–it is inexpensive and puts the fans in much closer touch with the team. Talking with Dino Gregory … Read More »
Sean was nearly perfect tonight with 13 points and 10 assists leading the Terps to an easy victory. Some observations of Maryland’s third victory:
What a great crowd–into the game from tipoff.—17,180
It was great to see Dino Gregory on the bench in street clothes. Again I say great kid, can’t wait for his return on Dec 12.
Game in game out Landon Milbourne is always a factor. Tonight he was 9-15 from the field with a career high 24 … Read More »
The thrill is in the air at Comcast. This is a genuinely entertaining tam to watch. Tonight after getting off to a slow start, Eric Hayes caught fire scoring 7 points in a minute and the Terps never looked back. Once again Baltimore’s Sean Mosley had a terrific all around game–stealing the ball, passing rebounding and scoring. This kid has arrived. The 2 freshman who seem to be splitting one of the big men positions combined for 12 points and … Read More »
All the sites say the great Tobias Harris is a longshot to select Maryland. With the addition of Ashton Pankey to the 2010 recruiting class. Maryland will now be stacked with bigs next year. Tobias wants to be the point forward in college. It’s about the only position the Terps don’t have covered. Whatever Harris does, this is a great recruiting class. Terrell Spoglin is certainly one of the top point guards in the country. Terrence Ross is an incredible … Read More »
Great Opener–Great Crowd–Let’s Analyze
Jordan Williams–STRONG presence–when his hands get on the ball he doesn’t let go–scored inside easily–great effort by the Freshman
James Padgett—again super inside moves and moves well without the ball–10 points 8 bds 2 blocks–19 minutes

Greivis–13 assists–“I’m a point guard.–a true leader”
