OPEN YOUR EYES!!!! I just don’t get why Duke receives a #1 seed in the Brackets and the Terrapins are shipped to San Jose to play as a 4 or 5 seed. I hope my readers believe that when I say the Terrapins are every bit as good as Duke, I really mean it.. Let’s analyze: The surest … Read More »
24 hours after THE GAME:
Down the wire this was a true team effort. The guy who really stood out was Jordan Williams. It’s unusual for a Freshman to do everything right at crunch time but he did. A put back lay up, tough defense, a blocked shot and making free throws. Every game, Jordan gets better. His … Read More »
For the past 72 hours, I have been on pins and needles awaiting this game. There are only so many events like this in one’s lifetime and no I am not exagerating. Anyone at Comcast, and everyone watching what I was told incredible ESPN coverage will never forget this game. Tonight was the perfect sorm for the Terps. Hated … Read More »
From Gary:
“Defensively, we won the game. No one scores a lot of points against Duke, but what we did early, we were really hot and made some great plays. You’d like to think that you can do that for 40 minutes, but you’re not because they’re going to find the ways to shut you down and they … Read More »
You can try to explain about the effects of playing at Cameron Indoor but it is different when you experience it. They said it was Coach K’s birthday today but a mi mistake was mad it was Brian Zoubek’s. 16 point 17 rebounds—let’s see how he plays at Comcast. I never expected Jordan Williams to have … Read More »

I never thought Duke would lose this game but I promise Saturday’s game against the Terps will not be a repeat of last year’s blowout in Durham. Lance Thomas seemingly has suffered a knee injury and his presence is crucial to this team. Can’t wait for saturday—Greivis’ last game in Cameron. I also like the fact the … Read More »

The 5th foul on Greivis was a ticky tack charge right in front of the Maryland bench. It would not have been so bad had not fouls 2, 3, and 4 were also of the non mugging variety. Henderson and Singler were puching clawing, the whole way through the game. Admittingly though Henderson was great, without him Duke is mediocre. To me Duke’s bench is very weak, though I don’t understand why Zoubek only got in for 8 minutes.
